3 healthy, quick and easy home-cooked family meals
Life is hectic. There’s a lot going on every day. I need practical, quick and effective! Can you relate, fellow amazing mum?
I am a passionate healthy lifestyle mamma, I understand the importance of making healthy food choices but I am also busy. Good busy, productive busy, but still busy that I do not have the time, nor want to spend endless hours in the kitchen.
The habit of all sitting down at the family table at the end of a long day, eating a home cooked meal and sharing our ups and downs of today is something I truly love and nurture. We all spend most of the day apart and coming all together at night is precious to me. And I feel a good and healthy home-cooked meal creates and reinforces the values of living a purposeful life, aware of taking good care and nourishing our bodies optimally.
Home-cooked yes, healthy yes but quick and easy!
You know my thoughts on this. A healthy lifestyle is like a puzzle of multiple small healthy habits coming together to create an environment you can thrive in and from. Instoring healthy eating choices plays a paramount role in the creation of this environment.
But I am still not ready to spend hours in the kitchen.
To avoid overwhelm, chaos and frustration, we are pretty well organized in that domain. I say we because my husband plays an active role in our daily meal preparation as well, we share duties.
Today I am sharing with you, 3 healthy, quick and easy home-cooked meals for your family to enjoy! We love plant-based food, so those recipes are vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free. Just the way we love our food to be!
3 healthy, quick and easy home-cooked family meals… here we go!

3 – Cauliflower Chickpea Masala
This recipe has kindly been provided by Sasha Thomas from Verily Fed.
Sasha has a way to talk about food that I enjoy and her love for healthy meals is just amazing. Therefore, I asked her if she would share her favourite recipe with my audience, and she kindly did.
Her cauliflower Chickpea Masala has become a family favourite in our household. You should try it. Sometimes we have it with potatoes instead of rice, just to mix it up.
Every week on Wednesdays, I share plant-based goodness on my 4uNaurally Facebook page. Make sure to like and follow my page to never miss out!
